The director of the Playbox Shorts film festival, Karlo Gagulić, reveals that the popular film “Ship in a Bottle” from 2020, which won the hearts of viewers around the world, will now be transformed into a feature drama series that will delight audiences of all generations!
After the film became a part of the compulsory curriculum of high schools in Croatia, Karlo Gagulić, who directed and produced the short film, decided to expand the story and offer viewers something new and exciting. The series “Ship in a Bottle” will have 6 episodes, each with a duration of half an hour, which will allow a deeper immersion in the world of the story that won the hearts of many. The series will be fully funded by the Playbox Shorts festival.
Filming of the series starts already in the spring of this year, and it will premiere at the opening of the Playbox Shorts festival, announced for October 10. This festival, already known for its innovation and promotion of talented filmmakers, will now further enrich its program with this exclusive premiere.
